- Temperament of individual animal or its parents
- If juvenile - has it taken food spontaneously at least five times before sale?
- Is snake in good condition? - not fat or thin - skin condition
- Has snake been correctly sexed?
- Sourcing a food supply on a long term regular basis
- Quality of food supply
- Diseases, ecto & endo parasites - causes & prevention
- Enclosure proofing - dangerous environmental factors (lamps & tape)
